Job summary
Gilbane Building in Baltimore is seeking a Superintendent - Data Center to oversee trade contractors on a project worth up to $30M. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, 4-8 years of experience in large construction projects, and an understanding of hyperscale data centers. The salary ranges from $83,200 to $120,000 with benefits. This position offers daily on-site responsibilities, requiring strong technical skills and ability to lead projects effectively.
Qualifications
4–8 years of experience on $15–30 million or larger commercial/industrial construction projects in a superintendent role.
Prior experience with field construction responsibilities on hyperscale data center projects is desired.
OSHA 30‑hour certified.
Responsibilities
Direct the day‑to‑day coordination of Gilbane’s trade partners and their sub‑contractors.
Develop, document, and communicate the work plan regarding changes made in the field.
Act as primary safety representative in the field.
Create, manage, and update the project schedule, implementing contingency plans when necessary.
