The Weitz Company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support data center projects in Des Moines, IA. You will help ensure construction aligns with codes, standards and specifications by planning, inspecting, and documenting progress on site.

Ideal candidates have at least three years in construction, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple inspections in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years construction-related experience required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• LEAN principles desirable.
• Data center experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and quality requirements; ensure work complies with plans and standards.
• Schedule, conduct and evaluate site inspections and quality monitoring.
• Prepare inspection/test plans and maintain quality-related documents for turnover.
• Identify non-conforming work and track in the non-conformance log.
