Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Construction Project Manager for Mission Critical data center EPC projects in the Midwest. You will lead construction activities, manage safety, quality, scheduling and cost, and coordinate with EPC teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will develop staffing plans, manage contracts and subs, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strong client relationships and project documentation. Travel and multi-site coordination may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of relevant project management experience in the construction industry.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction work on data center EPC projects in the Midwest.
• Oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop project plans, staffing plans, scheduling, and risk management.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and distribute deliverables per schedule.
• Mentor and train interns and junior staff.
