Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate activities of multiple engineering disciplines on mission‑critical projects.
  • Plan, organize, and direct engineering projects, including overall safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure project review processes and quality control guidelines are followed.
  • Establish project teams, coordinate the activities of multiple disciplines, and ensure efficient, cost‑effective utilization of staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience (a master’s degree may substitute for one year). Preferred 3+ years of project management in the mission‑critical industry.
  • Demonstrated success in project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to devise new approaches to problems.
  • Previous consulting experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer strongly preferred.
  • Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
  • Experience on construction project sites or program management in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, or water industries.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplined project team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding work environment and work overtime on short notice.
