Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate activities of multiple engineering disciplines on mission‑critical projects.
- Plan, organize, and direct engineering projects, including overall safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Ensure project review processes and quality control guidelines are followed.
- Establish project teams, coordinate the activities of multiple disciplines, and ensure efficient, cost‑effective utilization of staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience (a master’s degree may substitute for one year). Preferred 3+ years of project management in the mission‑critical industry.
- Demonstrated success in project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to devise new approaches to problems.
- Previous consulting experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer strongly preferred.
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
- Experience on construction project sites or program management in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, or water industries.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplined project team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding work environment and work overtime on short notice.
