Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Data Center Construction Project Manager to support a growing U.S. Mission Critical construction team.

The role spans preconstruction, project delivery, commercial management and client-facing duties across multiple locations with national travel. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in Mission Critical/Data Center projects, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of MEP systems and project controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience delivering Mission Critical/Data Center construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline required.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems in mission critical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of complex Mission Critical projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors and internal leadership to meet program, budget and objectives.
• Assist with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontract negotiations and cost control.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, meetings and commercial administration.
• Contribute to client presentations and maintain strong owner/client relationships.
• Assist commissioning, early turnover and project close-out activities.

Data Center Construction Project Manager

Location: Multiple US locations (Travelers or local candidates considered)

Salary: Strong salary, Bonus & Benefits package (Per Diem, Travel allowance offered for travlers)

Summary:

I am currently supporting a growing U.S. Mission Critical construction team that is looking to add an experienced Construction Project Manager to its project delivery function.

This is an opportunity for a construction professional with a strong Mission Critical background who is comfortable operating across preconstruction, project delivery, commercial management and client-facing responsibilities.

The role will involve:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of complex Mission Critical projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Working closely with owners, design teams, subcontractors and internal project leadership to maintain programme, budget and project objectives.
• Supporting estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontract negotiations and cost control.
• Managing project documentation, reporting, coordination meetings and commercial administration.
• Contributing to client presentations and maintaining strong owner/client relationships.
• Supporting commissioning, early turnover and project close-out activities.

The background we're looking for:

• 6+ years of experience delivering Mission Critical / Data Center construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of complex MEP systems within Mission Critical environments an advantage.
• Experience working around early turnover requirements and Mission Critical commissioning.
• Familiarity with MOPs (Method of Procedure) and the controlled execution of critical works.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost management and project controls.
• Experience with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
• Willingness to travel nationally for project assignments.
