Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio seeks an experienced Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects for new and retrofit data centers, owning scope, schedule, and budget.

You will coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams, manage vendors on site daily, and drive cost, quality, and safety. A background in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience carrying construction projects through from scope to closeout.
• Ability to analyze budgets and control project costs.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution and closeout.
• Own project scope, schedule, and budget for new builds or capital projects.
• Perform financial analysis of construction and manage RFIs/changes.
• Manage on-site construction projects and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Ensure quality control and report key metrics to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
