Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States (OH Jeffersonville) seeks a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction project management for new builds and capital projects, owning scope, schedule, and budget.

You will coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning, drive cost, schedule, and quality, and service on-site daily with trade contractors. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery of critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience taking new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction and manage project budgets.
