Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Technical Project Engineer for a data center construction project in New Carlisle, IN (South Bend area). The assignment spans 14 months with a pay rate of $55-75/hour, OT at $82.50-112.50/hour, and per diem of $4000/month for distant candidates.

Responsibilities include project execution, resource management, risk management, and technical support; requires a 4-year engineering degree and at least 3 years in data center construction, with knowledge of codes,

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of similar (data center) construction engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards
• Technical knowledge encompassing construction and engineering processes, procurement, project controls reporting, and contract management.
• Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for data center construction project.
• Participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing.
• Document Control in the Prolog database, material status reports, process requests for information, and manage meeting minutes
• Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
• Key technical person on projects. May be responsible for one or more small to medium sized projects.
