Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for our Hyperscale Data Center project in Spartanburg, SC. This on-site role involves managing project documentation, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years' experience with general contractors and hold a relevant Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or large trade contractor.
• Familiarity with MEP systems and coordination.
• Strong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in executing and managing the change management process.
• Act as a key contributor in monthly cost reporting meetings.
• Ensure all project documentation is collected, organized, and distributed effectively.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Interpersonal skills

Understanding of financial management principles

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
