Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer for an on-site role supporting their Hyperscale Data Center project in Spartanburg, SC. The ideal candidate will manage project information and coordinate documentation to ensure timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities include supporting project management, executing change management processes, and ensuring high-quality standards. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of related experience.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $69,500 to $95,500 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or large trade contractor.
• Knowledge of construction cost controls and reporting practices.
• Familiarity with MEP systems and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in executing and managing the change management process.
• Coordinate and expedite material procurement and delivery.
• Review and evaluate shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong interpersonal skills

Understanding of financial management principles

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
