Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support our Hyperscale Data Center project in Spartanburg, SC. In this on-site role, you will manage project information, ensuring timing, budget, and quality standards are met.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and contribute to project success through coordination and documentation while promoting innovation and a customer-centric approach.

This position offers health benefits, 401(k) options, and an attractive salary range of $69,500.00 to $95,500.00 based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience with a general contractor or construction manager.
• Strong understanding of contract documents and construction processes.
• Ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in executing and managing change processes.
• Coordinate and expedite material procurement and delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their professional growth.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Understanding of financial management principles

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
