Job summary

MGAC's Critical Environments team is expanding, seeking a Junior to Mid Project Manager (Scheduler) to lead data center construction projects in Richmond, VA. This role requires strong scheduling skills, onsite collaboration, and client coordination.

You will independently manage scope and schedule, mentor teams, and drive risk and budget controls, supporting the client’s vision while delivering high-visibility projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction scheduling with understanding of building design and construction.
• Bachelor's, Associate, or equivalent in construction-related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of P6 scheduling experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in scheduling of critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• Experience in ground-up, vertical construction scheduling.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ambitious, construction and project management-focused, to grow career.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Achieve and maintain the clients vision as a trusted partner.
