Job summary

MGAC’s Critical Environments team leads the construction of data centers and hospitals with deep industry expertise. As a Junior Project Manager, you will own project leadership, coordinating owners representation to keep projects on track and deliver high-visibility outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in construction PM, experience with critical environments, and strong communication. This role requires ~4 days onsite in Richmond, VA, with a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management with understanding of design/construction processes.
• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or equivalent construction-related discipline experience.
• 2+ years managing critical environment construction projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage full scope of projects while guiding components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams, managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule/budget recovery.
• Maintain relationships with clients, A&E pros, contractors/GCs, vendors and teams.
• Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.
