Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction project management for new builds and capital projects. You will own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget, interfacing with general contractors, evaluating bids, and ensuring safety and efficiency in large-scale data centers.

The role involves managing complex electrical and mechanical systems, driving cost and schedule, and coordinating with Ops, Networking, and Controls teams to deliver high-availability data

Qualifications

• Experience defining data center system-level architecture, documenting performance and equipment requirements, creating and maintaining project documentation.
• Experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) plants.
• Experience directly related to the design or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure or large-scale mechanical and electrical plants.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Perform financial analysis of construction; manage scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Manage construction projects to increase data center resiliency and oversee vendor/contractor performance.
