Amazon is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects for data centers. You will interact daily with general contractors, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and drive cost, quality, and risk decisions to deliver critical infrastructure.

You'll collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to build energy-efficient data centers and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience translating design concepts to deployment or mass production.
• Experience with power management and monitoring systems.

Responsabilidades

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage projects to increase resiliency of data centers.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs.
• Manage construction documents including submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control.
• Record and report key construction metrics to team and management.
• Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Be a leader within the group and with internal/external teams.
