Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Manager of Construction for the DCCD Mid-Atlantic to lead a team of Construction Managers and Project Engineers, hiring, mentoring, and coaching a diverse team while delivering regional data center capacity.

The role spans pre-construction to onsite execution, emphasizing safety, cost, and quality. Collaborate with Finance on budgets, coordinate cross-functionally, and drive performance metrics aligned with leadership principles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QC, RFIs) related to construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical data center operations (feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, AHUs, CRACs).
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Hiring and developing new Construction Managers and Project Engineers; coach and lead a large team.
• Strategic and tactical management of construction capacity delivery within the region.
• Coordinate with Finance during capital budgets development and execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams supporting data center development and launch.
