Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio seeks a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction PM for new data centers, coordinating with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, interact with construction trades, and drive constructability reviews while ensuring safety and efficiency for AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations (Life Safety, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own construction project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for data center builds.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and execution phases.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
