Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager for Data Center Construction to lead scope, cost, quality, and schedule on new builds and capital projects. You will coordinate across Operations, Networking, Controls, Security and Commissioning to ensure successful delivery of data center facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and experience advancing design concepts through deployment, with strong skills in MS Excel and power monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience moving design concepts through exploration, development and deployment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, quality, schedule and budget for DC construction.
• Lead construction project management and oversight of related activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security and Commissioning.
• Represent Amazon on construction sites and with general contractors.
• Create construction scope and RFIs, and evaluate bids with detail and accuracy.
• Track construction progress and financials, and report metrics to stakeholders.
