Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead on-site construction for data centers.

You will drive cost, schedule, and quality, coordinating with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to deliver high-performance facilities. You will be the owner's representative on construction sites, interacting with trades and contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of data center projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project management or owner’s representative roles.
• Strong ability to manage scope, quality, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage construction projects for initiatives increasing resiliency of data centers.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs for new or optimized data centers.
• Manage construction documents including submittal reviews, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control and report key metrics.
