Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead pre-construction and construction activities for critical data center projects. You will review contractor performance, manage schedules, and ensure quality and safety across teams powered by modular and traditional construction methods.

The role requires a degree in engineering or construction management, plus experience with Data Center projects, BIM, Lean, and scheduling. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading Data Center projects and managing subcontractors/vendors.
• Strong knowledge of 120VAC power tie-ins, controls wiring, fiber, and cabling.
• Familiarity with NFPA70E and critical path scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction activities for Data Center projects.
• Review contractor performance against schedule, quality, and scope.
• Develop and manage construction schedule and commissioning planning.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings to drive safety, cost, and schedule.
• Monitor progress and provide detailed reporting to Owners and Jacobs.
