Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Construction Manager to lead complex electrical and industrial construction projects from kickoff through closeout. In this role, you’ll be the on-site leader driving safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution while partnering closely with customers, subcontractors, operations, sales, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of progressive construction-management experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record; relocation assistance for candidates outside 50 miles of Urbandale, IA or Cedar Rapids, IA.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas for this position.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Experience in electrical, industrial, manufacturing, data center, utilities/power, or complex construction environments.
• Certifications such as PMP, CCM, OSHA 30 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle construction project delivery including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, and closeout.
• Act as on-site primary contact for Eaton’s EESS work, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review scope and timelines to identify risks and execution needs early.
• Use project management tools to track milestones and keep projects on schedule.
• Lead project meetings and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.
• Support safety, cost control, change order management and overall project performance.
• Share project management expertise and field best practices to improve processes.
