Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Construction Manager to lead multi‑building data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning. You will manage a team of project engineers, coordinate with sales, operations, and management, and drive on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a strong background in CSA/MEP construction, plus 5+ years as a project engineer. Travel and external partner oversight are expected aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a project engineer in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
• 7+ years preferred.
• Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and/or MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a requirement.
• Data Center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management across all phases.
• Oversee preconstruction, due diligence, and buyout activities, including contractor selection and scope alignment.
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders, design teams, trade partners, and Operations to ensure alignment with design intent, budget, and long‑term facility operations.
• Monitor project financials, including forecasting, monthly reporting, and EAC tracking, in coordination with project controls.
• Oversee contractor billing and pay application processes, ensuring accuracy and progress tracking.
• Lead startup, commissioning, and closeout activities, including schedule management and system validation.
