Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Construction Manager to lead one or more data center projects, managing a team of project engineers and coordinating across Sales, Operations, and management. Based in Shackelford County, TX, the role covers RFP, buyout, construction, MEP systems, commissioning, and turnover to Operations.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years as a project engineer, CSA/MEP construction management experience, and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years as a project engineer in supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
• Experience in CSA and/or MEP construction management required
• Data Center construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management across all phases
• Oversee preconstruction, due diligence, and buyout activities with contractor selection
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders, design teams, trade partners, and Operations to ensure alignment with design intent and budget
• Lead startup, commissioning, and closeout activities, including schedule management and system validation
• Travel 10–30% as required and manage project risks and issues
