Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee data center construction projects, including scope, budget, and schedule. You will interface with general contractors across bidding, award, and closeout, ensuring quality and cost control in high‑stakes facilities.

Responsibilities include evaluating bids, creating scopes, performing cost analyses, and driving resiliency projects for our global data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience moving design concepts through development to deployment or mass production.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases.
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage construction projects for initiatives increasing data center resiliency.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs for data centers.
• Manage construction documents including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control.
