Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Data Center Project Engineer to support construction on site with cross-functional teams, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. You will manage RFIs, change orders, and documentation flow daily on active data center projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vendor management experience.
• 4+ years in data center or critical environment ops.
• 5+ years of MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional communication between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for design changes, RFIs, and change orders.
• Review Method of Procedure submissions for thoroughness and risk.
• Manage vendor onboarding, security credentialing and orientation.
• Maintain project management software with milestone updates and records.
• Coordinate and monitor owner-furnished material deliveries to sites.
• Establish a centralized repository for contractor data.
• Oversee QA programs with checklists for safety and quality control.
