Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Manager of Construction for Data Center Operations in Birmingham. You will lead delivery of a large EPCM portfolio, interfacing between projects and the business, and guiding safety, risk, and cost control. The role includes staffing, coaching, and coordinating with sales and digital delivery teams.

You will manage multiple projects, lead site managers, and ensure quality through QA/QC plans, with experience in lean construction and complex contracts. A CCM/PE/PMP is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field is required.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data center construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methods and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a large EPCM portfolio for a Tier-1 data center client.
• Interface between projects and the business; manage staffing and QA/QC.
• Oversee safety, risk, cost, schedule, and client issues; participate in gate reviews.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and digital delivery teams on improvements.
