Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to support cost management on a large-scale data center construction program. You will oversee estimating, procurement, cost control, change management and commercial oversight from preconstruction through project completion in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in cost management on large projects, strong communication, and familiarity with procurement and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Experience on large, complex commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or tech-related projects.
• RICS accreditation is valuable.
• Good knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• Experience with estimating, cost planning, change management, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies, manage vendor prequalification, assess proposals and bids, attend bid interviews and manage appointments.
• Develop project estimates for construction, fees and other costs; review estimates by juniors; present to client; offer VE and risk assessments.
