Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor for a data center construction program. The role encompasses estimating, procurement, cost control, and commercial oversight across the project lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in cost management on large-scale projects, with strong communication and SOX control experience. On-site presence may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Experience on large, complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimating for full projects, including construction, fees, direct costs, and indirect costs.
• Review and challenge estimates with client; present VE and risk assessments.
• Establish cost reporting schedules; review budgets and forecasts with client.
• Manage cost control processes: payment applications, change orders, and contractor entitlements.
• Oversee final accounting, audits, and post-contract reviews; deliver lessons learned.
• Use bid analysis sheets, change control forms, and cost estimating software.
