Job summary

Airtech in the United States is seeking a Product Manager for Data Center Connected Growth to own the growth lane beyond existing products. You will identify opportunities to leverage broader IDEX products and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to commercialize them.

The role requires 5+ years in product management or related roles, with preference for data center infrastructure expertise, M&A experience, and strong cross-functional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, finance, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in product management, business development, strategy, or related roles.
• Experience in data center infrastructure, liquid cooling, thermal management, or engineered systems preferred.
• Experience supporting M&A strategy or capability analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the connected-growth product strategy for US Valve’s data center business.
• Identify opportunities where broader IDEX products, technologies, or capabilities can support data center cooling applications.
• Build strong working relationships with other IDEX business units to understand products and fit.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development to understand customer needs and market opportunities.
• Translate customer and market needs into product, portfolio, and commercialization opportunities.
• Build business cases for connected-growth opportunities including market need, revenue, margin, investment, risks, and execution.
• Partner with Finance to validate revenue, margin, cost, pricing, and payback assumptions.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to ensure feasibility.
• Support commercialization planning including positioning, messaging, sales tools, launch plans, and trade shows.
• Help determine build/sourcing/partner/M&A approach.
• Support M&A strategy by identifying gaps and adjacencies.
• Maintain a clear pipeline of opportunities with status and risks.
• Prioritize opportunities using market size, customer pull, margin, fit, speed, and complexity.
• Partner with current Product Manager to align with roadmap.
• Support customer meetings, trade shows, and cross-business discussions.
• Bring structure and follow-up to ideas.
