Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution with ~10+ years of relevant civil/site engineering experience and project delivery.
• Professional Engineer license strongly preferred with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Substantial experience with land development and site civil design for large, complex sites including industrial, logistics, or mission-critical projects.
• Experience with AHJs, permitting requirements, review comments, and local approval processes; strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, erosion control, and civil permitting.
• Proven project management and leadership skills including scope and fee development, budget and schedule control, risk management, client communication, and distributed team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission-critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through permitting and construction support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, staffing, client communications, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple concurrent assignments.
• Direct technical work involving site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, access, erosion control, and site permitting; ensure quality deliverables.
• Serve as primary liaison with AHJs and agencies; interpret local codes and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs.
• Mentor project engineers and CAD staff; support client development and Ramboll’s local presence in data center markets.
