Job summary

Arup is seeking a Civil Engineering Data Center Leader to grow our data center design capabilities in Texas. The role requires a technical design and consulting background with strong client-facing, business development, and project leadership skills.

You will lead large projects, expand relationships with technology clients, and collaborate with global Data Center leaders to position opportunities and drive growth in the Americas region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 15+ years delivering design and consulting services to clients.
• Texas PE license preferred.
• Strong network with clients in the Texas Data Center marketplace.
• Proven track record leading cross-disciplinary project delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale multi-disciplinary projects as Project Director, including technical/commercial planning, contract negotiation, and client contact.
• Drive outreach to existing technology clients to expand relationships and services.
• Research major opportunities and master service agreements for pre-positioning.
• Develop annual and long-term business plans and staff development.
• Coordinate with Data Center leaders across regions and manage cross-border teamwork.
