Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead site development, utilities, roadway, and drainage design for science, industrial, and technology projects across the country. The role includes data center master planning, team leadership of civil engineers and subconsultants, and coordination with agencies.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in civil engineering (Master’s preferred), a PE license is a plus, and 6+ years in civil/site development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required; Master’s preferred.
• PE license is preferred.
• At least 6 years of civil engineering/site development experience.
• Experience with data centers is preferred and strong hydrologic/hydraulic knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of site development, utilities, roadway, drainage, and related elements for varied projects.
• Lead site due diligence and master planning for data centers for hyperscale clients.
• Lead a team of civil engineers and subconsultants to oversee design document production.
• Coordinate with local agencies on land use and permitting processes.
• Mentor team members and develop client relationships and proposals.
