LG Electronics seeks a Data Center Chiller Field Engineer for our Alpharetta, GA office. The role focuses on monitoring field product quality, guiding resolutions, and supporting aftermarket operations with technical expertise.

You will travel to field locations, collaborate with HQ Korea teams, and develop technical bulletins while delivering analyses of warranty data to drive quality improvements. A strong customer-focus and cross-team communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of technical field experience in HVAC on commercial products.
• 5+ years VRF experience preferred.
• Experience with troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge in managing quality issues.
• Ability to plan work and identify action items.
• Collaborative and able to work with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of quality management principles.
• Proactive work attitude and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field locations to track and investigate product quality, up to 50%.
• Support HQ Korea factory engineering and quality teams with data.
• Coordinate with technical teams to define resolution actions.
• Arrange supervised technical assistance for unresolved issues.
• Develop technical bulletins on product quality.
• Provide monthly quality analysis to management.
• Assist in warranty data analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Review HQ Korea docs to improve US quality knowledge.
• Interact with factory quality teams to maintain product quality.
• Perform software and hardware service updates as needed.
• Develop tests and procedures with HQ Korea QA teams.
• Guide customers via phone and email to resolve issues.
