Job summary

LG Electronics seeks a Chiller Project Manager to supervise delivery and construction of data center cooling systems. You will liaison with executives, manage schedules, risk assessments, and ensure code compliance while reporting to the team leader. The role requires HVAC expertise, bilingual English/Korean, and US work authorization.

Travel to job sites as needed, collaborate across departments, and drive on-time, safe project completion with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of construction-related experience preferred, chiller/HVAC is a plus.
• Strong reporting to stakeholders and team leader.
• Ability to interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to executive stakeholders and team members.
• Manage delivery and construction progress with client and team leader.
• Communicate with client and internal departments.
• Apply HVAC knowledge and project control mindset across all phases.
• Submit periodic status reports after key events to the team leader.
• Create and optimize schedules for chiller units and cooling equipment.
• Maintain safety logs, risk data, and drawings/approval books.
• Assess project specifications, lay out timelines for chiller systems.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of data center and HVAC best practices.
• Stay up to date with code requirements and compliance.
• Oversee project quality and on-time completion.
