LG Electronics is seeking a Data Center Chiller Field Engineer for our Alpharetta, GA office. The role focuses on monitoring field products, ensuring quality, and documenting issues for resolution in collaboration with HQ Korea teams.

Responsibilities include field support, data analysis, and sharing knowledge with LG training and aftermarket teams. A strong HVAC background with VRF experience is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of technical field experience working in the HVAC industry on commercial products.
• 5+ years of VRF experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of quality management practices and proactive problem solving.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field locations to monitor and investigate product quality (up to 50% travel).
• Coordinate with HQ Korea factory engineering and Quality teams to gather data for resolving field issues.
• Develop technical bulletins on product quality and share learnings with training teams.
• Provide monthly analysis of warranty data to identify patterns and drive improvements.
• Support field teams, warranty, aftermarket groups and training staff for installation, maintenance and service of water products.

The Data Center Field Engineer is responsible for monitoring field products and technical quality standards by identifying current issues in the field. You will work to identify, document, and eliminate those issues as well as support our aftermarket operation, and a training team with technical expertise.Principal Duties and Responsibilities.Field Support:  Travel to field locations to track and investigate products quality.
