Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Building Engineer in Chantilly, VA to maintain and operate all mechanical and electrical systems within a data center. You will work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on/4-off schedule, supporting vendors and ensuring uptime for critical infrastructure.

The role requires 2-5 years of HA data center experience and a relevant technical degree; a CFC refrigeration license is a plus. Addison Group offers growth opportunities in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience in High Availability environments (Data Centers, Manufacturing, Hospital).
• College/Technical degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience.
• CFC refrigeration license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance support for all mechanical and environmental systems.
• Operates and maintains all mechanical and electrical systems in the data center complex.
• Assists outside vendors/contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and mechanical projects.
• Supports building controls systems for chiller plants, HVAC, cooling towers, water systems, and fire systems.
• Supervises third-party activities and services.
• Performs basic security-related duties as needed.
