Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Building Engineer for Data Centers in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on delivering best practice systems and resolving issues across UPS, MV electrical, generators, and cooling infrastructure to ensure 100% uptime.

Daily duties include preventive maintenance, monitoring refrigeration and electrical equipment, incident response, and site safety. Requires 2+ years in data centers and ability to handle complex facilities, with on-site work in Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in data center/critical facility.
• Ability to traverse large campus-like settings and access equipment.
• Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs and working at heights.
• Experience with UPS, generators, switchgears and related electrical/infrastructural systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Record readings and adjust operations for HVAC, chillers, pumps, and electrical equipment.
• Analyze system operations to troubleshoot issues and take corrective action.
• Follow hazardous materials handling and safety procedures.
• Manage work orders via CMMS and coordinate with vendors and customers.
