Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager in Berwick, PA. The role oversees construction project management for new builds and capital projects, partnering with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to deliver reliable data centers.

You will be on-site daily, driving cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure high standards and on-time hand-offs to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience taking design concepts through exploration to deployment or mass production.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Negotiate bids/proposals and evaluate them with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and RFPs; perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage projects to increase resiliency of data centers; review electrical/mechanical designs.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing; ensure quality control.
