Barry-Wehmiller Companies Inc. is seeking an Automation and Control System Commissioning Manager to lead onsite BMS/EPMS commissioning across North America data center projects.

The role requires staying onsite, coordinating design, development, and field execution teams, and ensuring timelines and quality meet program objectives. You will join an established team in a high-demand environment, travel or relocation as needed, and drive safety and operational discipline throughout the deployment

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial control systems or building automation system troubleshooting and/or startup.
• 4+ years' experience overseeing the installation starting up and commissioning of automation and control systems, with significant onsite time.
• Strong communicator and ability to work within large teams of DG professionals, trades, GC and client.
• Relocation timing negotiable and dependent on location and opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite main point of contact for the overall DG BMS/EPMS site commissioning activities with the client, general contractor, and installation trade management.
• Lead commissioning status reviews and executive-level discussions regarding schedule, risks, resource needs, and issue resolution.
• Represent DG at site commissioning, design reviews change management, and commissioning scope meetings.
• Attend daily commissioning review meetings with client, GC, and commissioning agent.
• Attend internal DG project and review meetings.
• Provide overall management of BMS/EPMS commissioning issue resolution, track status, and update assignments.
• Create input to support change order development.
• Manage onsite BMS/EPMS staffing plans, resource allocation, scheduling, and workload balancing.
• Work with DG project management, DG design and Dev Ops to manage scope changes and deviations.
• Promote and enforce site safety in line with client, contractor, and DG safety requirements.
