Job summary

Design Group provides engineering and technology services for large-scale data center projects. The Automation and Control System Commissioning Manager will lead onsite BMS/EPMS commissioning activities, coordinating across design, integration, and field execution teams to meet program objectives and quality standards.

You will be the main point of contact for client and contractor interfaces, manage staffing and schedules, and drive issue resolution and change management while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial control systems or building automation troubleshooting/startup.
• 4+ years overseeing installation, startup and commissioning with significant onsite time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite main point of contact for DG BMS/EPMS commissioning activities with client, GC, and trades.
• Lead commissioning status reviews and executive discussions on schedule, risks, and resources.
• Represent DG at site commissioning, design reviews, change management, and scope meetings.
• Attend daily commissioning review meetings with client, GC, and commissioning agents.
• Participate in DG project and review meetings.
• Manage BMS/EPMS commissioning issue resolution, assign and track status, and close out actions.
• Develop input for change orders and manage staffing plans and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with DG PM, design and DevOps teams to manage scope changes and deviations.
• Enforce safety requirements and ensure commissioning activities comply with safety standards.
