Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Ohio) is seeking a Datacenter Inventory & Facilities Associate to manage material orders, shipping, and daily cycle counts. You will handle freight, perform quality checks, and ensure 5S safety standards across the datacenter floor.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong customer service, and the ability to train across multiple datacenter departments while engaging with on-site stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, laser measuring devices, WMS, and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management.
• Handle customer material movement requests
• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight
• Manage shipping documents and records
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
• Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
• Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices
• Oversee and perform electronic component population and cabling installation in server racks using diagrams and schematics
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
• Oversee and perform cleanup activities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
• Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
• Ensure daily adherence to safety and process procedures
• Delegate and coach team members
• Flexibly cross-train in multiple datacenter departments and interact with customers and on-site stakeholders
