Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Inventory and Data Center Logistics Associate to support material orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and serve on-site customers.

You will handle shipments, perform cycle counts, manage server rack installations, and ensure safety and 5S standards in the datacenter, with opportunities to coach teammates.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management.
• Handle customer material movement requests.
• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight.
• Manage shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Oversee and perform cleanup activities in accordance with safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
• Interact regularly with customers and other stakeholders on site at the datacenter.
• Delegate and coach team members.
