Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Technician for a datacenter facility in Lancaster, performing material orders, inventory control, and on-site customer interactions to ensure seamless operations.

You will load and unload freight, install server racks, operate lift equipment, and follow 5S and safety protocols daily while cross-training across departments. This role is on-site in Lancaster."

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
• Handle customer material movement requests
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
• Perform quality checks for accurate part numbers, quantities, and material condition
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
• Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
• Perform work-area cleanup and maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
• Adhere daily to safety and process procedures
• Interact with customers and stakeholders on site at the datacenter
• Cross-train in multiple datacenter departments

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related experience
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Critical thinking and good analytical skills
• Experience with computers
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
• Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
• Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
• Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
