Ebon Energy seeks an Application Engineer – Data Center to support North American data center opportunities and bridge customers with our U.S. commercial team and China-based engineering/manufacturing resources.

You will interpret project requirements, evaluate specifications, and help translate customer needs into executable technical solutions for transformer and power-distribution systems. This role involves collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams, supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with transformers, medium-/low-voltage power distribution, switchgear, critical-power systems, or related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specs, diagrams, drawings, data sheets, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, diagrams, data sheets, and technical requirements for data center projects.
• Evaluate project requirements and select or configure transformer solutions for data center and critical-power applications.
• Support technical evaluation of transformer ratings, voltage, impedance, insulation, cooling, and protection requirements.
• Prepare and maintain compliance matrices, deviation lists, clarifications, proposal inputs, and customer responses.
• Identify gaps, risks, and issues early and coordinate resolution with internal engineering teams.
• Review drawings and submittals before customer release.
• Lead or support customer technical meetings and design discussions.
