Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a senior data architecture leader to partner with business and technology teams, shaping data and analytics strategy across the enterprise. You will define requirements, data flows, and target architectures, guiding multiple teams through design, build, and deployment of scalable data solutions.

You will implement Medallion Architecture patterns and modern data platforms (Fabric, Azure, Databricks, Power BI) while upholding governance and CI/CD practices, mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or related roles.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions from discovery through production.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and technology teams to understand objectives and align on data analytics solutions.
• Lead discovery, requirements, risks, dependencies, success criteria, and target-state architecture.
• Design scalable, secure, governed data architectures using Fabric, Azure and Databricks.
• Establish architecture standards, Medallion Architecture patterns, CI/CD, testing, observability, and ops expectations.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives, translating designs into delivery plans.
• Evaluate tradeoffs around scalability, performance, cost, security, and governance.
• Mentor and supervise data engineers to foster accountability and collaboration.
