Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a Data Architect to lead a modern, secure data platform in Atlanta. You will own the architecture across data initiatives, from requirements intake to production support, partnering with business stakeholders and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), with a strong focus on governance, security, and scalable lakehouse design.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Medallion Architecture and enterprise lakehouse design.
• 5+ years in data exposure and consumption strategies (APIs, data sharing, BI integration).
• 5+ years hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud security.
• 8+ years SQL and distributed data processing with batch and streaming designs.
• Nice to have IAM, RBAC, masking, tokenization and zero-trust experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Atlanta 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data architecture using Medallion Architecture to establish scalable lakehouse patterns.
• Define high-performance batch and streaming data pipelines and engineering standards.
• Design secure cloud data solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP with RBAC, encryption, and zero-trust.
• Mentor engineering teams and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.
• Embed data governance, metadata, lineage, and quality controls into platform design.
