Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an Enterprise Data and Analytics Solution Architect to lead the data and analytics architecture strategy. The role focuses on scalable data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts, aligning with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with clinical and IT stakeholders, guide implementation roadmaps, ensure data governance and security, and stay current with cloud and analytics technologies to drive innovation across the analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, information services, or healthcare is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant data engineering and analytics experience.
• Two (2) years of data and analytics architecture experience preferred.
• Certification in cloud, Epic Cogito, or Microsoft Fabric preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and prioritize analytics solutions across the enterprise.
• Define reference architecture with data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Support data governance, security, and quality assurance practices.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve scalability of data platforms.
• Oversee data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data.
