Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Manager of Data Analytics in Plano to lead the data team, turning large datasets into actionable insights that drive eCommerce growth and operational excellence. You will work with product, engineering, and marketing to deliver data-driven decisions and scalable analytics across multiple lines of business.

Qualifications

6+ years in a similar role in eCommerce or Operations.
Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
Ability to lead a team and motivate individuals to perform at their best.
Strong experience in data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
Proficient in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

Responsibilities

Lead a team of data professionals (data engineers and data analyst/scientist) to deliver insights and models.
Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to identify business trends and opportunities.
Prepare reports and dashboards to support leadership decision making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
Develop and present data-driven recommendations to improve revenue and operations.
Mentor the operational team on analytics frameworks and tools.
Monitor KPI performance for eCommerce operations and drive improvements.
