Job summary

PubMatic is seeking an Engineering Manager for Data & Analytics to lead and grow a team responsible for real-time and batch analytics systems at scale. You will drive architectural direction, ensure reliability, and collaborate with Product, Analytics, ML, and business teams to deliver data-driven insights for advertising platforms.

You will mentor engineers, own the roadmap, and balance new capabilities with modernization, while optimizing performance and cost across the data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience, with leadership
• Strong background in large-scale distributed data and analytics systems
• Hands-on architectural understanding of Kafka, Spark Streaming, Snowflake, HDFS and object storage
• Experience operating high-throughput, production systems
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior technical and business leaders

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Own roadmap planning, prioritization, execution, and delivery for data & analytics platforms.
• Drive reliability, scalability, observability, and cost optimization across systems.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Business, Analytics, and ML teams to align strategy with business outcomes.
