Job summary

ZipRecruiter is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead our Big Data Engineering team. You will own the mission, drive execution, and ensure code quality while partnering with product managers to maintain the roadmap.

This role requires mentoring engineers, removing roadblocks, and shaping a culture of ownership and excellence in a data-driven, scalable platform. We offer a hybrid work environment with US-based remote options.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced software development/data engineering environment.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineering leader.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting production-grade data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the mission, execution, morale, and code quality of your team.
• Partner effectively with product managers to maintain and execute against the product roadmap.
• Serve as a force multiplier for your team by removing roadblocks and driving improvements.
• Actively build community and culture throughout the engineering organization.
• Continually develop, coach, motivate, and lead by example.
• Champion and evolve innovation at ZipRecruiter and evangelize BIG ideas.
